Ok, this one is inspired by my mother. She is petite and has been trying to find the perfect pair of jeans (along with the rest of the world) to no avail. She comes close now and then, and yes, needs to get each pair hemmed eventually ($$$) but close is not perfect.

I found out how to get custom, made-to-measure denim that you can order on-line. One site mentioned was indiDenim (indidenim.com) that lays is out for you inch by inch. I clicked through and first select a general cut out of three options (chose the ‘SoMa’), then a fabric, the wash, the rise, and so on.

I figure with the money that has gone into the pile of jeans in my closet that get limited use, putting in $135 for a custom fit is a good deal.

Did I mention you can put your initials on your custom pair? Go ahead, brand yourself…
