"A Perfect Fit? "

I expect a lot from my jeans, which is probably why I have yet to find my “perfect” pair. My ideal pair would transition from work to play, match every top I own, look cute with Chucks and heels, and make me look like I’ve got junk in the trunk. It’d be short enough to keep me from tripping over myself, but long enough to cover my ankles when I sit. It sounds simple enough, but most jeans I come across simply can’t rise to occasion. However, I’ve just been introduced to indiDenim (thanks Nylon!) and now, I wonder if jeans that actually fit might be within my reach…

At indiDenim, you design your own pair of jeans, customizing every detail from the cut to the stitching on the back pocket. In addition to customizing your design, they ask detailed questions about your measurements like your height, inseam length, and waist size (they even ask how much your jeans gap at the waist) which means that no matter what your size and shape, they should be able to produce a pair of jeans that actually fit. If it doesn’t, just send it back, and they’ll tweak it until it’s just right. But if you do find the One, reordering it is easy, since they save each design you make.

Of course, perfection comes at price—each pair starts at $145, plus shipping and handing. But while it’s not exactly cheap, it may be worth the investment if you wear it often enough…
