"custom denim pt. 1"

Stile’s been chatting away a lot this week about denim. How Gordon Ramsay made the Style List because of them, the rules of denim, and what to buy.

Then a woman wrote me. OK, that’s not news seeing as I am who I am.  But this particular woman wasn’t so much interested in what I had to offer (give her time). She wanted to tell me about Indi Denim.

Indi Denim offers custom jeans tailored to your liking - from the style to the fit, the color to the accoutrements - you order a pair you want, you desire. The goal is that you love them so much you return next time and merely click “re-order” for fast, custom, jeans. I just hope she doesn’t lose my number.

I ordered a pair today ($135) from their site and in 4 weeks or so, I’ll see what we get back and post again for part two of the story.

Here are the options you get:
Style (there are 2: classic or relaxed*)
Fabric (Authentic*, Ash, Rinse, Ink, Vintage*, Resin*)
Fly (zipper* or button)
Coin Pocket (y*/n)
Carpenter Style (y/n*)
Back Pocket Style (just say “basic*,” though there are many choices. Uggh)
Leg Style (Straight*, Bootcut, Wide)
Distressing (y/n*)
Hand Sanding (y/n*)

From there, you’ll enter sizes and other measurements (inseam, waist, shoe size [what the f—-?]) and you’re finished.

Yours truly ordered a pair of Relaxed Straight-cut Zippered-fly Resin Jeans (33x31) with a basic pocket, coin pocket and no added distressing or sanding. And definitely not in a carpenter style.

In 4 weeks we’ll see what we get lads. You won’t want to miss this.
