Skeptical about customizing jeans? So was she…
World, meet Kyla. She’s a small town fashionista on a mission for a fabulous wardrobe on a low budget. She’s fully equipped with a sense of style and a blog—and not afraid to use either. We met Kyla last month through our sponsorship of the Weardrobe Conference in NYC and quickly discovered that Kyla, like so many other women, was a “custom jean skeptic.”
Giving into her skepticism (as every fashion blogger should), Kyla went ahead and, through our website, put together a pair of high-waisted dark wash flare jeans—a style she admits has always been difficult to find on the rack. Kyla blogged about how easy it was to customize her jeans and satisfy her every denim want and need, and even shared a bit more about the experience with us, personally:
“I absolutely LOVED the experience of designing my own jeans! I have a really hard time finding jeans that fit and when I do find jeans that fit, the styles aren’t always very exciting. I really wanted a pair of jeans with a specific style that would stand out as more than just a pair of casual denim blues. I chose a high waist and flare leg, since that seems to be the most challenging style for me to find.”
She then went on to say:
“I was skeptical at first, wondering how in the world these jeans were going to fit based on nothing but answers to a few questions, but I was blown away when I received them. I pulled them on and was shocked that they really did fit like a glove. Next time, I don’t think I would do much differently. I’m in love with the style and I think I will just get them in a different denim and wash.”
Kyla, we’re so happy you’re happy with your indiDenim jeans. You look terrific! We know you were pleasantly surprised that your new pair “fit like a glove,” but that’s just what we do.

One custom denim skeptic down, just a few more to go…
