Denim Blog

End the week at the symphony…in jeans of course

Don’t get us wrong. At indiDenim, we love our top pop 40.  Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, the Black Eyed Peas…you name it and we’ve got it streaming on our iTunes playlist.

Our love for music seems to fit harmoniously with our love for denim. Whether you may realize it or not, good music and a good fitting pair of jeans have a lot in common—both lift your spirits and are always there for you in times of need…always.

Although our love for pop will always be strong, we’ve recently expanded our horizons to other musical genres, including classical. That’s right, classical.

Not only can the soft songs of a string quartet sooth your soul almost as much as Taylor Swift when she strums her guitar, but now it’s officially cool to enjoy the classical arts in your jeans.

Just recently, the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra in Florida performed an ode to Ludwig himself by switchin’ up the dress code by wearing blue jeans and t-shirts on stage.  Why do this? Jeans just make you feel comfortable for course—whether you’re wearing them or someone else is…

In this case, just by putting on our favorite denim, the Pensacola Symphony created a relaxed and comfortable environment that made everyone in the audience feel right at home. Why that sounds just wonderful now, doesn’t it?

So as the week comes to a close, take some time to sit back and relax. Make yourself a big pot of herbal green tea, slip into your pair of custom-made denim, and put on your favorite classical jam. Beyonce can wait till tomorrow, we promise.
